The former 1850’s picturesque farmhouse now sits within the heart of the elegant complex that has become the Littleover Lodge Hotel. One of three hotels in Derbyshire which are owned and personally managed by the Crooks family, Littleover Lodge still has that personal touch that many establishments lose.

Our hotels in Derby have been headed by Nicholas Crooks since November 2000 and since then Littleover Lodge has become far more than a hotel. The ground floor of the original house is home to the Lodge Bar & Dining, a contemporary decorated restaurant, hosting a freshly produced gastro menu, locally sourced carvery, and home to one of the pizza restaurants in Derby!. The menu combines classic favourites with modern dishes so there is something for everyone and every occasion! So whether it is a bed for the night, a meal with family and friends or a few casual drinks you’re sure to be offered a warm welcome by Nick and his team!

Littleover Lodge was bought by the Crooks family in 2000 and is in a chain of three hotels in Derbyshire called JC Hotels. Originally a Georgian farmhouse, the hotel is home to 15 modern bedrooms which were built in the early 1990’s to create a homey lodge style. Since then, it has lovingly developed into one of the most welcoming and comfortable hotels in Derby.
A fantastic home to fantastic food menus such as a cooked carvery which is hugely popular with both locals and tourists and it is also home to the Lodge Bar and Dining, a trendy bar in the heart of Derby which serves an extensive gastro menu or the pizza in Derby which is perfect for a family day out, a catch up with friends or a re-fuel whilst passing through the area.
